Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to become a part of our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you'll be the key point of contact for our users, providing support for software and hardware issues, as well as conducting regular maintenance checks.Responsibilities: Diagnose and solve hardware and software problems, including those related to operating systems and various applications. Implement hardware installations and software upgrades, as well as execute file backups. Carry out regular preventative maintenance checks on workstations, printers, IP Phones, and other peripherals. Use remote support tools for assisting users with their issues and for updating software remotely. Install and configure new IT equipment relevant to endpoints like laptops, printers, and IP phones. Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel and assist business clients with applications, connectivity, training, and problem-solving. Utilize your knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques. Display excellent organizational skills and establish priorities when dealing with resources. Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Learn and support new systems and applications. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar Proficient in Cisco Technologies, demonstrating an ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues Familiarity with Citrix Technologies, showcasing a capacity to handle virtualization software Knowledge of Computer Hardware, capable of identifying and fixing hardware issues Understanding of Database management, able to ensure integrity and performance Experience with Dell Technologies, demonstrating skills in managing and maintaining Dell systems Proficient in Active Directory, showcasing ability to manage user accounts and access Familiarity with Apple Devices, capable of troubleshooting hardware and software issues Experience with Backup Technologies, demonstrating an ability to safeguard data Knowledge of Configuration Management, able to maintain system security standards Understanding of VPN Technologies, showcasing ability to establish and manage secure network connections Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
