Data Entry Clerk

Description We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Entry Clerk to join our team based in Richmond, Virginia. The role involves the precise and efficient entry of data related to invoices into our system, utilizing Excel and other MS Office suites. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity, providing an essential service within our organization.Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient data entry of invoices into the system. Utilize MS Office suites, particularly Microsoft Excel, to maintain and manage data. Correct any errors found within invoices, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate. Process invoices, ensuring all details are entered correctly and completely. Use Accounts Payable (AP) skills to manage financial data and keep accurate records. Regularly check and verify data entered to maintain high data integrity. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth data entry operations. Use problem-solving skills to resolve any issues related to data entry. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data integrity standards. Regularly update skills and knowledge in relation to data entry and relevant software. Requirements Proficient in data entry operations with a high level of accuracy and speed Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) processing and management Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
