Billing Specialist

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Billing Specialist in Richmond, Virginia. This role is primarily responsible for processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and handling customer credit inquiries. Additionally, the Billing Specialist will monitor customer credit accounts, ensuring timely collection of delinquent payments. This role falls within the industry of financial services and is based in a professional office environment.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer credit information Resolve customer inquiries related to credit in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer credit accounts regularly for any discrepancies or delinquent payments Take appropriate action to collect overdue payments from customers Review and reconcile shipping documentation from FedEx and UPS for billing purposes Update customers with invoicing and tracking information as required Perform daily invoicing and review sales postings and billing costs Maintain a record of all outstanding invoices for future reference Support with Sales Order confirmation and billing functions Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites for various accounting and billing functionsRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with Sage High proficiency in Microsoft Excel Competency in Microsoft Office Suites Understanding of Accounting Functions Knowledge of Billing Functions Experience in Claim Administration Understanding of Collection Processes Excellent Customer Service skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
