The Associate Production Supervisor - Second Shift for Leica Biosystems is responsible for leading and managing the Wax Department. This position is part of the Operations team located in Richmond, IL and will be fully on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be a part of the Operations Leadership Team and report to the Director of Operations responsible for both day-to-day results and delivery of strategic line improvements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Supervise a shift of production during second shift

Own the continuous improvement (DBS) culture for the value stream, including owning Daily Management, Problem-Solving Process (PSP), and more.

Manage a team of associates for Wax production

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s Degree, or 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Previous experience in an FDA or ISO-regulated manufacturing environment OR previous people leadership experience

Familiarity leading and facilitating lean manufacturing or continuous improvements (Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Standard Work, etc.) with sustained results
