Identifies potential transportation service providers. Communicates with field and project personnel to evaluate provider performance. Reviews and handles freight bills. Reviews and processes routine claims for lost or damaged materials. Assists field personnel in expediting or locating materials in transit. Assists with shipping requirements and issues. May solicit proposals, evaluate responses, negotiate, and/or administer routine service contracts.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience0-2 years of related experience.

Basic knowledge of freight claim law procedures.

General knowledge of procurement practices, procedures, and policies.

General knowledge of business and contract law.

General knowledge material and service delivery fulfillment process.

Hazmat DOT knowledge.

Good verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Effective influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

Value, cost analysis, and general analytical skills.

Project management skills.

Ability to anticipate, understand, and respond to customer needs.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Ability to use sound business judgment.
