Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia, 23220CarMax, the way your career should be!The Analyst II, Information Risk Management reviews, analyzes, and evaluates Privacy operations tickets and facilitates all aspects of the privacy lifecycle starting with the customer inquiry, tracking and following-up on privacy data retrieval progression from various systems, and delivering the results to the customer.The Analyst II will be expected to utilize different tools, processes, and services as well as work with mentors and peers to understand the processes under their responsibility. The Analyst II will work with senior risk management, privacy, and technology professionals to facilitate customer privacy requests and partner with multiple business and technology areas within CarMax to ensure compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and new privacy laws as they evolve. This role serves as the conduit between the business community, Privacy core team, technology, and the application development teams. The Analyst II has excellent communication skills to include but not limited to verbal and written communication, delivering organized presentations, able to tailor message to the audience, and facilitate group discussions with diplomacy and seek diverse opinions.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Requirements:Ability to maintain ticket levels within SLA’s

Ability to coordinate with multiple product organizations to facilitate data subject access requests (DSAR) within the requisite timeframe.

Ability to appropriately use team support documentation

Ability to write process documentation and be able to write to the audience

Ability to monitor process performance in order to highlight problems or suggest further improvements

Ability to do independent analysis and decision making

Ability to evaluate and prioritize multiple tasks and stay organized

Ability to effectively track and report on the progress of work

Ability to do basic data analysis and trending including Service-Now and Salesforce reporting & monitoring

Strong understanding of in house services and tools

Ability to achieve and maintain Privacy certification

Ability to conduct information risk assessments and privacy impact assessments

Ability to apply risk management methodologies to various assessments

Ability to coordinate with process owners to evaluate system data elements and their impact on consumer privacy

Ability to conduct assessments timely from planning through completion within specified timeframes

Advanced understanding of the business processes supported by their respective environments

Understands and can utilize various requirements gathering techniques to gather and clarify business and systems needs

Ability to understand and implement data analytics requirements into the processes

Ability to evaluate long term impacts when making recommendations and decisions

Ability to understand and implement information risk and privacy principles across disciplines

Education and/or Experience:

4 years technical/support experience required or 4 year degree in IT related course of study preferred and 2 years of technical/support experience
