Our client is a full-service AEC management firm located in Herndon, VA, who is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing mechanical and electrical divisions! This is a long-term, full-time opportunity with a ton of growth potential into a leadership position. Projects vary greatly in size and scope, from simple system upgrades to renovations and additions to existing buildings or whole programs of facility improvements.Job Responsibilities:

Put together HVAC construction documents in a commercial building

Perform HVAC Design

Create load calculations

Perform field surveys and travel out of town periodically

Top Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related-discipline

3-8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering as it relates to building designs (including HVAC)

AutoCAD or Revit experience

Plumbing, energy conservation, building automation, and fire protection experience is a plus but will be trained if they don't have it

EIT preferred

Ability to perform field surveys

Experience on data center projects is a plus
