We’re looking for talented people ready to fulfill their potential.   The Energy Marketing Account Services team is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager who will work on the planning, development, and implementation of marketing automation strategies and MarTech solutions to support our client’s energy efficiency efforts. You will play a critical role in integrating, developing, implementing, and analyzing marketing automation campaigns using technologies like Eloqua, HubSpot, Salesforces, and MS Dynamics. You will support the development of marketing strategies that will drive audience engagement and demand generation and help grow and improve our campaigns through automation.You will support the Marketing Account Services team who conducts all aspects of marketing to include advertising, strategic planning, research, social media, events, outreach, and partnerships. To implement marketing campaigns, the team works with a 150-person creative and media services group. We help our clients and communities use less energy, save money, and help the environment through the development, implementation and refinement of marketing and outreach initiatives. What you will be doing:

Manage client accounts servicing email marketing automation campaigns for residential and commercial energy efficiency programs in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Design and implement demand generation and email automation campaigns by driving strong engagement with key decision makers and influencers.

Manage and optimize database marketing including audience segmentation, nurture, and trigger campaigns.

Manage marketing daily tasks including email calendar management, setting up multi-step campaigns, testing, scheduling, and deploying, and reporting automated campaigns.

Project manage integrated systems to enhance ability to automate campaigns and track engagement activities.

Work with marketing strategists, creative, content, and outreach teams to ensure campaign concepts, messaging and deliverables effectively support full-funnel, multi-channel campaigns with target markets & personas.

Support the growth and enhancement of account-based marketing programs aimed at key client segments in federal and energy markets.

Manage a team of marketing automation and email marketing staff.

Monitor marketing automation performance and generate analytics reports to assess delivery and campaign efficiency.

Stay regularly informed of industry changes, innovations, and best practices.

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field 

3+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, social marketing, or related fields, with a focus on consumer marketing at advertising agencies or consulting firms. Skilled in interpreting data, creating insights, and articulating applicable campaign optimization changes.

Experience with marketing automation systems, such as Salesforce, Eloqua, HubSpot, or Marketo, and navigating CRMs to understand campaign performance and the status of leads through funnels.

What we would like you to have:

Experience advertising agency and/or on a consumer marketing account.

Proficient with HTML, CSS coding for email development.

Proven ability to develop and implement email automation campaigns.

Working knowledge of CAN-SPAM, email best practices including design principles, metrics, data hygiene and compliance.

Knowledge of email delivery and verification practices including inbox placement, and DMARC, DKIM, SPF sender reputation management.

Be able to use and understand web-based email testing tools (Litmus or similar)

Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

Experience working across teams, divisions, and/or departments in a collaborative fashion to get things done.

Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines for time sensitive assignments.

Experience driving performance and articulating those results to a variety of stakeholders.
