Sr. Cloud Architect

for its team

Those authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship are encouraged to apply due to the nature of the project.(7-9) Years of IT Experience, 5-7 years as a Cloud Architect Leading Cloud Initiatives Role:

• Lead technical discussions with internal customers and technical teams to understand business and technical requirements in order to develop and tailor cloud architecture and implementation patterns to implement cloud-based solutions.• Lead technical discussions with technical teams to develop transition roadmaps and architecture patterns to migration legacy systems to cloud native architectures.• Develop engineering and implementation patterns highly capable, scalable, available, and elastic solutions that implement industry best practices using cloud services.• Develop roadmaps to implement enterprise capabilities to support standardized/reusable patterns for cloud and cloud integration.• Develop engineering and implementation patterns for secure implementations based on cloud and industry best practices.• Engineer solutions to support integrating SaaS and public cloud solutions with legacy systems. Identify and develop reusable design patterns.• Implement tools and processes to support cloud implementation reuse across the enterprise.• Engineer and implement technology stacks in cloud-based environment to replace data center centric stacks.

Requirements:• Expert in defining architecture and design patterns for applications that will be deployed to cloud or deployed to a private cloud then migrated to public cloud.• Expert in building relationships between the customers and the team members.• Expert in optimizing cloud systems to meet strict performance, security, audit and compliance requirements.• Expert in providing production ready IT solutions using services from leading cloud service providers, such as Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure.• Expert in Cloud Modeling and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools such as Terraform and writing Infrastructure as Code.• Proficient in Cloud cost modeling techniques.• Proficient in developing reference architectures and design patterns to standardize cloud application development and integration patterns.• Proficient in cloud migration analysis to determine approach (rehost, revise, rearchitect, rebuild or replace).• Proficient in cloud suitability analysis and mapping of current systems to different cloud computing models.• Proficient in performing gap analysis and remediation plans to migrate systems to cloud.• Proficient in developing high level capacity models to size cloud footprint.• Experience in developing and managing prioritization and sequencing for cloud migration.• Experience in defining cloud-specific service-level agreements with providers and internal stakeholders.• Experience in provisioning AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform cloud services. Cloud certification preferred.

Additional Skills:• Complete understanding of the technologies used for cloud computing.• Experience in securing cloud based solutions. Cloud security certification preferred.• Proficiency in the following Software & Tools: MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Excel, Visio
