DescriptionAs a member of an Agile Team for the Delivery Services Group, selected candidate will be a member of a highly skilled and motivated team responsible for the assessment, design, and implementation of cloud-based solutions in a variety of software applications and integrated systems. An SAIC Agile Team is currently expanding to support a cloud-computing project for the Air Force and Dept of Treasury Customer.The candidate will work with various customer application portfolio built using different technologies and migrating them to the Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Computing Environments (CCE). Candidate will be required to collaborate with other Agile Team members and engineers in SAIC, and outside of SAIC, for software and Infrastructure quality assurance activities and general cloud integration. As expected, candidate will be involved in Functional, System testing and support any Infrastructure automation in an Agile development environment, using various DevSecOps and testing tools, such as Azure DevOps, GitLab (Git), Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Selenium, Cucumber and Kubernetes. Candidate should be familiar with cloud-computing concepts, and capable of working with potential application migration customers within the DoD and Treasury community. Candidate needs to be able to prepare and present technical material such as Test cases, test scripts, Test logs, Issue logs, performance benchmarks etc., as applicable.This job is a full-time remote opportunity that can be worked anywhere within the US.The successful candidate will be experienced and excited to work in an Agile environment and will have to ensure that the applications function optimally in the cloud environment and that the transition to IPv6/Dual Stack is smooth, secure, and performs as expected in terms of compatibility and connectivity.Responsibilities:

Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions.

Develop Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or Azure Bicep and any other Cloud provider specific IaC tools like AWS Cloud formation templates to automate infrastructure provisioning.

Verify that the migrated applications can run seamlessly in a Dual Stack enabled Cloud Environment.

Work closely with Agile Cloud Engineers in building appropriate test plans for validating the core networking, communication modules that can repeatable for every application.

Develop detailed Testing and Validation strategy for systems migrating to the IPv6 environment.

Validate cloud resource configurations, test security backup and DR procedures in cloud.

Confirm that internal networking components (such as load balancers, VPNs, etc.) are compatible with dual-stack environments. Support and be part of the team developing a cloud migration strategy, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or other refactoring approaches.

Build and execute Test Plan/Scripts potentially automated using DevOps Pipeline to validate the applications migrated to Cloud are working in Dual Stack enabled environment.

Strategize, Design, build, test environment in cloud and configure dual stack and setup network monitoring and performance testing tools to validate both IPv4 and IPv6 performance.

Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications on the cloud.

Implement security best practices in cloud infrastructure, including encryption, identity and access management, and network security. Ensure cloud solutions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

QualificationsRequired Citizenship and Clearance :

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

R equired Education and Experience:

A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with a minimum 9 years of relevant software development experience. A master's degree in computer science or related field with a minimum 7 years of relevant software development experience. In lieu of a degree, four (4) additional years of experience will be considered.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate should be extremely comfortable using Linux/Windows development and build environments, as well as Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and frameworks for both cloud infrastructure and applications.

Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, Ping, traceroute, and NetFlow for monitoring and debugging network issues, especially related to IPv6.

Experience with cloud-native testing tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Google Cloud's Operations Suite for performance and logging in cloud environments.

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for automating testing and deployments, Hands-on experience with testing tools, cloud platforms, automation, and network troubleshooting.

Desired Skills :

Experience/Certifications with AWS and or Azure primarily Networking specialty.

Terraform and Docker/Kubernetes certification.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000.
