DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities:
Define and specify the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of client’s software products
Understand user needs and test software solutions through clear communication with product owner and scrum team
Based on requirements, develop test plans
At conclusion of test, prepare end of test report
Test software within a cloud environment customized to IRS requirements.
Execute stringent unit testing of delivered code to verify that it meets all functional requirements
Oversee peer testing, as needed
Act as SME to support regression testing activities carried out by tests such as an Application Qualification Test (AQT) and System Acceptance Test (SAT) testing teams, ensuring that the software meets the functional requirements
Test complete applications and re-tests results of bug fixes and security scans and Section 508 testing (as needed)
Conduct final integrations testing, as needed
Use Jenkins to deploy code and execute automated regression test
Be a team player capable of high performance and flexibility in a dynamic working environment
Work to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the area/ project team
Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments
Address somewhat complex technical issues/problems using internal best practices and through collaboration with colleagues
Develop solutions to technical problems that require depth of technical knowledge, but are typically limited in complexity
Communicate with colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, other technical resources, etc.)
Explain technical solutions, practices and procedures to others within the organization
Possess working knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of technical domain
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires BS degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools: Jenkins, Selenium, LoadRunner, Splunk, JSON/XML Schema, and the CLM Suite
Experience resolving routine problems and issues, without clearly prescribed solutions
Experience checking and making minor adjustments to work methods to solve problems
Must have ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation, similar to a Public Trust Clearance
This offer is contingent upon Leidos being awarded a subcontract under the IRS Enterprise Development, Operations Services (EDOS) contract/program
Offer also contingent on Leidos' customer approval of your qualifications to support the IRS Enterprise Development, Operations Services (EDOS) contract/program
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in software development
Experience testing software products on projects in an IRS/Treasury environment
Experience testing software on an Agile development team
