Job Family :Operational Effectiveness ConsultingTravel Required :Up to 25%Clearance Required :Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do :The Network Adminstrator will do the following:

Provide software systems development, systems integration, and network engineering

Formulate and define specifications for client IT systems

Develop, modify, and maintain complex systems and subsystems, using vendor engineering releases and utilities for overall operational systems

Coordinate development work with client staff and orients users to new systems

Perform software systems development, systems integration, and network engineering

Assist the Senior Network Administrator

Maintain the client website, the internal network infrastructure (cabling,

servers, switches and routers), the Wi-Fi access points, the firewall and all server updates, backups and hardware replacements

Assist Staff and Students with Internet Issues, software, and hardware

Suggest and obtain quotes on upgrades to improve performance of Network

Provide other Internet Network-related assistance as required

Assist with procurements by working with acquisition personnel to obtain and review vendor quotes.

Perform and maintain hard drive encryption installation on all laptops that fall within the client inventory.

Follow all inventory and property procedures in accordance with the client Internet Network Policy and Procedures and Order(s) and other established internal standard operating procedures for equipment.

Coordinate and comply with IT and data policies from the client.

Troubleshoot and maintain computers located in the multiple client locations, as well as approximately 800 laptops and workstations.

Troubleshoot other laptops upon request.

Provide client staff with technical assistance on an as needed basis.

Assist client representatives with acquiring, organizing, and processing training data.

Support other duties, such as imaging software and information kiosks updates and maintenance.

What You Will Need :

Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust

TWO (2) or more years of experience in telecommunications systems , network administration or data engineering

Ability to work on client site
