The NCIS program is searching for a Citrix Administrator to join their team in Quantico, VA .The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is an organization of over 2,200 personnel of which 700 serve at HQ and the remaining staff serve at offices worldwide. NCIS is the Department of Navy (DON) component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation, law enforcement (LE), counterterrorism (CT), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber matters. NCIS not only has primary responsibility for all criminal investigative, CI, CT, and cyber matters within the DON, but it also has exclusive investigative jurisdiction in non-combat matters involving actual, potential, or suspected criminal, terrorism, sabotage, espionage, and subversive activities.This position is part of the IT Technology Operations division within the NCIS ITD organization and provides daily support of Citrix based applications to include:

Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVA&D)

Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS)

Experience integrating Citrix NetScaler ADC/NetScaler FIPS devices in an enterprise environment

Upgrades Citrix based applications and hardware as required

Dell Wyse terminal integration

Assists with daily operations and maintenance of enterprise Windows-based environments.

Provides support with restoration efforts for unplanned system outages and service disruptions

Assists various SMEs with task-oriented work while receiving OJT learning opportunities (VMware, Exchange, SharePoint, MS SQL).

Performs software upgrades, patch installs, firmware upgrades

Performs incident resolution for Tier 3 requests

Diagnosis and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software

Daily written and oral communications with coworkers and leadership

Troubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment using vSphere

Create scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks

Document work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers various tasks

Experience with NLB and F5 will be considered in lieu of strong Citrix skills.Basic Qualifications:

BS degree ; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

5+ years of experience and deep expertise with systems administration:

Highly experienced in configuration, management and deployment of Citrix ADC/NetScaler FIPS HA appliances

Strong understanding of Citrix Application Delivery Management (ADM)

Strong understanding of Citrix Web Application Firewall (WAF)

Managing Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, for hosted applications and virtual desktop deployments via zero client terminals

Managing virtual machines leveraging VMware VCenter hypervisor

Familiar with Microsoft deployment methodology options to include Microsoft Deployment toolkit and System Center Configuration Manage (SCCM)

Microsoft Windows desktop design engineering and implementation options

Familiarity with MS SQL in always-on deployments leveraging Windows Server Failover Clustering and SQL availability groups

System configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGs

Familiarity with Exchange 2016

Group Policy Management administration to include policy creation and maintenance
