Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the transport industry located in Providence Forge, Virginia, 23140, United States. We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk who can manage and streamline our financial processes with high precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Handle the process of customer credit applications with accuracy and speed Keep up-to-date and precise records of customer credit Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, and Microsoft Excel to perform tasks Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly Oversee and manage the billing process Ensure all cash applications are processed correctly Carry out cash collections from customers Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial data. Requirements Possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation. Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must. Demonstrated experience in Billing is needed. Should be adept at Cash Applications. Requires skills in Cash Collections. Proficiency in Commercial Collections is desired. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of the transport industry is advantageous. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Must have a high level of integrity and dependability. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in finance or a related field is preferred.
