This role would be on a short-term contract / temporary to hire basis, and located in the Portsmouth, Virginia area.Responsibilities
Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits
Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Conduct and manage the general ledger
Support quality archived records by filing documents
Appease accounts by balancing entries
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information Requirements - Strong familiarity with account reconciliation
Experience with Financial Statement
Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
