Description:
Candidates will operate a CNC plasma cutter or other CNC equipment as needed.
Candidates must be strong CNC Operators as they will be running brand new Robotic Beam line machines; moving materials via crane after they are fabricated if a material handler isn't nearby, and check all cut product. Operating a Peddinghaus (PeddiBot-1200) see below for video
Candidate will set up the programs on the CNC, follow manufacturing guidelines and company policies as it relates to moving large product/materials, and perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment.
Candidate will perform operator maintenance and work under minimal supervision, Producing quality parts according to drawings and measuring materials using tape measure to check quality
Candidates may operate a forklift if one is available as little of their product can be lifted by hand as it's all large metal plate and beams
Candidates will clean up, learn the inventory of the facility, tag and locate product, and fill facility with all raw materials. Candidate must be able to read a tape measure and change machine programs for various cuts
Candidates may also assist in unloading flatbed trailers after pulling chains to prepare to lift and transport into facility or in the yard and Must be able to work both inside and outside in all weather conditions as 80% of product is stored outside.
Candidate will effectively manage their inventory system via the use of computers in the warehouse and possibly more manual pick tickets and paperwork from truck drivers to verify loads, weight, and materials being delivered and shipped
