Description/Job SummaryGeneral Purpose of the Job: Assist in the management in all aspects of the dining facility operations and services and assume the role of acting-manager in the absence of the DF Manager.Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of supervising, training, scheduling and disciplining employees
Maintain all areas/equipment/products in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
Ensure all credited product is returned to inventory properly
Assist with performing required Employee Performance reviews for employees (30-day, 90-day, annual)
Handle specific aspects of on-site inventory control including ordering, receiving, stocking product and processing orders
Respond and work to resolve all employee grievances within 48 hours of notification using proper policy and procedures according to Human Resources
Advise Manager of any changes to the approved schedule
Assist with performing and reporting weekly audit of high security items
Maintain an open relationship and act as a liaison with clients, customers and QA's
Maintain and ensure all employees follow the policies and procedures
Qualifications:High School graduate; or six month's to (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the organization in a professional manner.Requires supervisory skills: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly.Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations. Ability to work all shifts.Strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently or within a team.Familiarity with inventory management.Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs).Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsSALARY: $1916.67 BI-WEEKLY
