Job Title: Production TechnicianJob Description

Essential functions include the efficient operation of the specialty chemicals plant.

Candidates will work with powdered chemicals used in the polymer-making process, which is used in plastics in waste water treatment plants.

Candidates must be able to work at elevated heights and move consistently between 4 levels of the facility. Initially, candidates will shadow other operators and document processes, performing basic tasks.

Once trained, the position is responsible for the safe, environmentally sound, and efficient operation of the chemicals' plants, including utilities, bulk storage, and warehouse.

Responsibilities include operating plant machinery and equipment, performing repetitive tasks, and remaining stationary for extended periods.

This includes opening and closing valves, monitoring instrumentation panels, and reporting findings from gauges.

Candidates must dump 10-kilo bags into containers, utilize basic math skills, track and monitor plant data, follow procedures, climb ladders, operate a forklift, and perform manual duties lifting up to 50 lbs.
