Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate your own vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations
Use handheld smart phone device for routing information, customer delivery information
Pick up load and unload packages
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating vehicles and handling packages
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning
Requirements:
Must be at least 21+ years old
Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR
Authorized to work in the United States
Successfully pass a background check
Successfully pass drug screening
Must have a clean and reliable personal vehicle, large vehicles perferred: Cargo Van, Mini-Van, Sprinter.
Previous experience as a route driver or courier preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions
