ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Work includes the installation of new roofs and re-roof and/or repair of existing roofs in occupied buildings for all major roofing systems, including Modified Bitumen, Single-Ply & Metal. Knowledge of these systems is helpful but not required for laborers.
-Work independently as you travel to job sites, make required repairs, and clean up the job site once you are finished.
-Perform roof investigations and inspections as needed.
-Ability to operate hand and power tools of all types as needed.
-Ability to perform assigned tasks daily with strong attention to detail.
-Must not be afraid of heights.
-Ability to read and use a tape measure.
-Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling.
-Must not be afraid of heights.
-Must be able to work in a COLD or HOT environment.
-Ability to work well with others.
-Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
-Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
-NEED TO BE ABLE TO OBTAIN BASE ACCESS FOR ONGOING PROJECTS!
POSITION SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
-Basic understanding of construction industry.
-1 year of basic construction labor.
-3 years commercial roofing knowledge for more skilled roofing positions
-Basic knowledge and use of common hand tools required.
-Must have a valid driver license.
-Must be 18 years of age.
-Must be punctual and reliable.
-Must be organized and have an eye for detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

-Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
-The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
-Comfortable on roofs at heights of 3-4+ stories.
-Ability to climb a ladder, work from scaffolding and manlifts, comfortable working at heights.
SALARY:
-Negotiable – depending on experience
-Paid Weekly on Fridays (Mon thru Sun Work Week) w/ paystubs emailed.

-Earned Leave (Vacation/Sick) – 80 Total Hours Accrued Annually | Vacation (24 hours annually, accrued at 0.47 hours a week) – never expires, but caps at 24 hours. | Sick (56 hours annually, accrued at 1.08 hours per week) – never expires, but caps at 56 hours.
