Modern Exteriors by Design (ModExt Construction) is looking for full-time skilled Lead Installer – Capable of leading deck and sunroom installation projects to join our team. We specialize in Vinyl/Lumber Sunrooms and Lumber/Composite Decking, as well as other exterior projects. Servicing from Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Suffolk, Smithfield, and Cape Charles.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in decking/framing construction
- Skilled in carpentry, installation, and exterior construction (experience with sunrooms, fencing, concrete, and windows is a plus)
- Reliable transportation (Valid Driver’s License & own vehicle to meet to and from shop required)
- Own basic hand tools
- Comfortable using technology for communication (must have a working phone)
- Must be able to provide photos and referral of previous projects and employers
Pay & Schedule:
- Starting at $24/hr, based on experience (90-day review for adjustment)
- Trial Period: 3-5 days paid via CashApp, followed by biweekly payroll
- Full-time (40-50 hours/week)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, with overtime and weekends as needed
- Additional pay opportunities: Overtime, referral bonuses, and tips
