Service Technician
Department: Service Job Status: Full-Time
Work Schedule: M-F 8:00AM to 4:30 PM plus overtime
POSITION SUMMARY
Service and maintain all HVAC systems under contract with current customers while developing positive customer relationships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance work on HVAC equipment; change filters, belts, clean coils and lubricate as necessary.
Take readings from pressure gauges, thermometers, and electrical meters to evaluate proper equipment operation.
Read and adhere to diagrams, blueprints, specifications and manuals for installation and repair of
HVAC equipment.
Commission start-up and checkout of HVAC equipment.
Perform brazing and soldering tasks as required for installation or repair of HVAC equipment.
Test and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, repair and test equipment prior to placing back into service.
Monitor and maintain clean work areas.
Maintain and service hand and power tools related to trade.
Complete necessary documents (time sheets, invoices) and electronic communication in a thorough, accurate and timely manner.
Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and maintain a clean vehicle at all times.
Provide technical support to customers and/or technicians.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 3 years related work experience or trade school graduate
Computer Skills: Dispatch Software on a Tablet
Certificates & Licenses: EPA Certified; Valid
