JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Electrical Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial environments. Each level (L1–L4) represents a step in skill development, leadership, and job complexity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install electrical panels, outlets, and switches.
Perform basic troubleshooting of electrical circuits.
Perform conduit installations and terminations.
Read and interpret schematics with little to no guidance.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 3 years of field experience.
Basic knowledge of NEC codes and commercial electrical installations.
Ability to operate testing equipment.
Able to interpret blueprints
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to work in various weather conditions at commercial construction sites
Requires standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and other physical activities for extended periods
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Must adhere to all company and OSHA safety regulations
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
