Hiring an Appliance Repair Technician to perform repair, installation, and maintenance duties. Will provide on the job training. Position is full time with an average of 40 hour per week. Pay is negotiable and based on experience. High school diploma or GED required. Must have basic Mechanical Skills. Preferably experienced General Contractor or Mechanic. Appliance repair technicians are responsible for repairing, installing and maintaining appliances. Appliance repair technician must troubleshoot and repair appliances including washers, dryers, ranges, refrigerators, microwave, dishwashers and more. Appliance repair technician must have the ability to deliver, install and instruct their customers on how to operate the appliances. Must have drivers licenses and a good driver's license record. Must be able to drive box truck for deliveries. Must have a smart phone. Must be able to use smart phone tablet and computers. Must have the ability to read diagrams and schematics for repairs or maintenance. Must be able to use hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks and other appliance moving equipment. The ability to lift heavy objects. Must have own tools. Excellent problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Other job duties will include: Dismantle, cleaning and reassemble appliances. Provide repair estimates and service contracts for customers. Collect payment for repairs or service. Accurately diagnosing and submitting request for parts needed for repair or maintenance. Maintaining an accurate record of all items/parts used for repairs and maintenance of appliances.
