Research Associate - Education (Hampton Roads region)

Part-time Research Associate needed by a small research firm that specializes in the evaluation of K-12 and higher education initiatives. Research Associates supports the senior researchers through data collection, analysis, and reporting and other administrative support for program evaluation studies. A masters degree in Education, Educational Research, Economics, Psychology, and/or Evaluation is required with a strong background in research methods. Professional experience as a K-12 teacher or administrator is preferred. Excellent organizational, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills, both quantitative and qualitative analytic skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office required. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently, remotely, and as part of a team, and to manage several tasks simultaneously. This is a 100% telework position but travel within Hampton Roads is occasionally required.
