Local Restoration company in theTidewater area that specializes in water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire/smoke restoration and asbestos abatement is seeking experiencedestimator. We are looking for a professional, energetic, and determined candidate that has strict attention to detail. You must be client focused and ready to serve. Water, mold, fire and asbestos certifications are a plus (preferably IICRC certifications). Duties:
Inspect claims and jobs as scheduled by the office manager.
Effectively able to diagnose and develop appropriate estimate/job scope to restore clients property to pre-loss condition. Responsible for writing and delivering accurate estimates to the appropriate persons in a timely manner.
Estimate jobs according to IICRC and company standards.
Provide all supporting documentation to clients and Water Damage Manager when applicable.
Write insurance reconstruction and restoration estimates using Xactimate.
Knowledge using moisture mapping software.
Requirements:
National background check and drug test mandatory and clean driving record.
Knowledge using moisture mapping software and solid understanding of Xactimate estimating software.
Exceptional understanding of insurance restoration and reconstruction work.
Strategic thinker with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong understanding of restoration IE: water, fire, mold, roofing and re-construction. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
