A1 Floors of Hampton Roads is looking for a new Office Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner, self-sufficient, detail-oriented, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and critical thinking skills. This will be a full-time position, Monday thru Friday and occasionally a half day on Saturdays. The office is located in Virginia Beach and all applicants need to have reliable transportation to the office. We are looking to hire someone to begin working the week of November 25th (the office is closed on Thanksgiving and open from 8 am-12 pm on Black Friday). Compensation and benefits:
$18.00 per hour plus commission

Skills and Qualifications:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Gmail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify and resolve issues
Efficiently manage time and priorities
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (Required)
1-2 years in sales and customer service (Preferred)
1-2 years of office management experience (Preferred)
Experience with flooring is preferred
Must have reliable transportation to Virginia Beach (in office job)
Some experience with marketing is a plus
Job Description:
Overseeing and executing administrative tasks
Managing the showroom and sales
Coordinating installs, measurements, meetings, material deliveries, etc
Manage and answer incoming phone calls and emails
Managing the company’s social media (postings, updates, etc)
Paying bills and keeping an updated expense report
Keep the owner updated on all projects
Work on creating more streamlined procedures and policies and enacting them
Create new relationships to expand business opportunities
Some additional tasks may be assigned as needed
