Job Summary:The Residential Draftsperson works on multiple projects delivering high-quality designs, aiding the sales efforts of kitchen, bath, additions, and interior/exterior whole house renovation projects. The ideal candidate has expertise in residential design & planning processes to fulfill homeowner's needs. The draftsperson provides a 3-dimensional visual representation of the company owner's project proposal, based on the client's design goals and expectations. The draftsperson is responsible for the initial material selection and specification process for the purposed of creating aesthetically pleasing presentation drawings, including but not limited to: cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures, paint and/or wall coverings, exterior finishes as applicable and more. The candidate should have experience with providing industry standard cabinetry specifications. This role creates building permit plans/construction documents for residential remodeling projects and construction, using knowledge of construction process and applicable building codes (local, state, and national). The Draftsperson will also coordinate with Project Manager and Office Manager for municipal permit approval.
