Atlantic Beach Movers is looking for qualified crew leaders, drivers packers to join our team. We are looking for individuals with strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. We hire individuals who can provide friendly, well-mannered, and professional service to our customers while maintaining a positive attitude.
Type of employment: full-time, part-time, or seasonal. Weekend availability required!
Crew Leaders Responsibilities (Experience a MUST)
21 years or older for drivers, must have a clean driving record
Check-in with the office
Communicate the move plan clearly with the customer and team
Complete equipment and supply inventory
Complete truck inspections after every move to prevent loss
Complete the moving paperwork and customer payment
Do a worksite walk through with the client
Make a positive first impression - smile, handshake, let the customer know what to expect
Provide training to new leaders
Safely pack, move, and unpack the customer's belongings
Supervisor staff to ensure no damage to client property or belongings
Track and report any damages, if incurred
Driver Requirements (Experience a MUST)
Laborer Requirements
21 years or older for drivers, must have a clean driving record
Must be able to safely drive and operate a 26 ft truck
Perform truck inspections daily
Truck maintenance knowledge a plus
Laborer Requirements
18 years or older
Ability to stand, bend, lift and carry 80lbs or more repetitively
Access to reliable and on-time transportation
Good work ethic and a positive, professional attitude
Good work tools for disassembling and assembling furniture
Must be able to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED
Warehousing, construction, general labor
Willingness to interact with customers daily
Work in a team environment
Benefits
Base pay starts at $14.00 – $18.00 (DOE) plus tips
