We are hiring a handyman / property assistant for a housing complex.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a neat and clean appearance and a professional demeanor, and a good working knowledge of all trades—from carpentry, masonry, concrete, tiling, painting, and drywalling to light plumbing and electrical. Must know when it is appropriate to call in a licensed professional. Must have recent experience in routine property maintenance and repairs.
We can train you on the property management assistance to the general manager - this may include taking calls from tenants with maintenance requests, assessing & scheduling work needed, meeting delivery trucks, delivering paperwork to tenants, showing units to prospective tenants, collecting rent, etc.
Hours:
Part time, will change from week to week depending on current projects
Requirements:
5+ years experience
Valid drivers license and your own reliable transportation
