Seeking a F.T. attendant to provide support to a 65-year-old female with multiple disabilities and medical conditions, including Down Syndrome with moderate intellectual disability. Job requirements include, but are not limited to, assisting with toileting, bathing, grooming, and supervision of the individual as she is a fall and choking risk. Additional requirements are preparing meals (food must be chopped as the individual does not have teeth and meals must be low sodium/sugar due to diagnosis) and housekeeping (cleaning areas utilized by the individual to include bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room areas).
Applicant must have their own transportation and provide transportation for the individual to medical appointments and community activities. Applicant must have an active driver’s license, provide proof of insurance, and proof of a clean driving record. The applicant must be 18 years or older, be able to pass a criminal background check, and be COVID-19 vaccinated. Pay is dictated by DMAS of Virginia and is currently $13.60/ hour with no benefits.
