Get Lost Shave Ice, a popular and vibrant shave ice destination in Virginia Beach, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Shave Ice Makers and Cashiers. As a key member of our crew, you will play a crucial role in creating a delightful experience for our customers by crafting delicious shave ice creations and providing excellent customer service at the cashier.
Responsibilities:
Shave Ice Making:
Prepare and assemble high-quality shave ice using a variety of flavors and toppings.
Ensure consistency and perfection in shave ice presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shave ice preparation area.
Cashier Duties:
Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
Handle cash transactions and provide change to customers.
Answer customer inquiries and provide information about menu items.
Customer Service:
Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.
Assist customers in choosing shave ice flavors and toppings.
Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep the cashier station and serving area clean and well-organized.
Follow hygiene and safety protocols in food handling.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for cashier responsibilities.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and pride in your work.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Schedule:
This is a part-time/fulltime position with flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
