A very busy, fast-paced, high volume restaurant in Norfolk is seeking a qualified sous chef, or experienced cook!
This is a full time position.
We are looking for someone to:
- Collaborate with staff and management and help design food and drink menus.
- Create weekly dinner specials, some of which coincide with a promotion or theme.
- Manage food ordering and delivery.
- Produces consistent results.
- Oversee and supervise the kitchen staff.
- Assist with menu planning, inventory, and supply management.
- Keep stations clean and comply with food safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance.
Must be reliable, dependable, open-minded, self-starting, pay attention to detail, take pride in your work, practice good time management, and be a team player!
