Take advantage of our operations on your campus by kickstarting your future with our passionate teams and dedicated leaders who are ready to get you to where you want to go.As a Health & Wellness Student Intern, you will assist the Monarch Dining Registered Dietitian with nutrition-related events across campus. Responsibilities will include event planning, marketing, nutrition education, and execution. This position is ideal for a student interested in pursuing work in the health and wellness field.Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.Job Responsibilities· Collaborate with Registered Dietitian (RD) and other interns to plan and execute tabling events at campus dining locations and other university events· Support the RD in educating students regarding healthy food choices available on campus· Ensure proper food handling during food sampling events· Create educational social media posts and other materials using Canva· Conduct audits at campus dining locations on a regular basis· Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-worker, etc.· Support the RD in the development of Training Table and in providing nutritional guidance to student athletes· Assist in preparing nutrition education material for distribution to student athletesAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. To meet our commitments, job duties may change, or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.Qualifications· Strong passion for nutrition, health, and wellness· Enthusiastic about engaging and motivating students at events· Demonstrates a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude with students, clients, and colleagues· Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team· Excellent communication skills with managers, faculty, and students· Self-motivated, proactive, and consistently punctualThis role may have physical demands including, but not limiting to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
