The successful candidate will contribute to Navy Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training across all assigned Areas of Responsibility (AORs).This role involves planning, designing, and executing Operational-level Fleet Synthetic Training (FST-O) events for Fleet and task force staffs, including reserve personnel. Additional responsibilities include supporting on-site and distributed training events at various Norfolk, VA locations. The role requires strong communication skills to engage effectively with Military, Government, and Contractor Leadership.Essential Job Responsibilities
Analyze data to provide recommendations to program management.
Utilize quantitative analytical techniques to identify process issues and propose risk mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain program planning, control, and execution processes.
Draft correspondence, prepare presentations, and manage documentation (e.g., time records, travel, invoices, and purchase orders).
Monitor budgets and departmental spending, verifying paid invoices against purchase orders.
Develop and implement forms and procedures for operational efficiency.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports, conducting research and data collection.
Provide expert-level support across NSWC-Corona sites, ensuring coordination and event success while minimizing costs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree in a related field with 1 year of relevant experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent with 7 years of relevant experience.
Required Skills:
U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance (ability to upgrade to Top Secret).
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent grammar, spelling, and prooing abilities.
Experience with administrative tasks and processes.
Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.
Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Preferred Requirements
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and SharePoint.
Experience with Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) simulation and other HLA/DIS modeling tools.
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
