Actalent is hring a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant in Norfolk!Description:
Provides safe and effective delivery of uncomplicated clinical services and tasks under the direction and continuous supervision of a licensed health care provider.
Provides appropriate clinical and non-clinical information to facilitate visit process.
Maintains sterility and cleanliness of the environment.
Maintains supplies, equipment and instruments.
Supports and performs clerical functions as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Pediatrics, triage, taking vitalsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
Pediatric experience is preferred but not required,
Mental health experience is preferred but not required.
At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
Must be comfortable working with children.
Hospital experience is not required, this can be someone from a practice setting.
Clerical experience such as prior authorization is highly preferred.
Work Environment:
Shift: Monday to Friday only
No weekend, no nights, no on-call
