Establish and maintain comprehensive processes for evaluating systems lifecycle processes and associated documentation
Determine resources required for quality control across the entire NMMES program
Track and maintain quality levels throughout system lifecycles
Conduct formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout development lifecycles
Provide daily supervision and direction to QA support staff
Develop and implement quality standards for both legacy and modern applications
Lead quality initiatives across multiple development teams and locations
Oversee integration of quality processes with Agile/SAFe methodologies
Direct quality assurance strategies for system modernization efforts
Establish metrics and reporting for quality measurements
Collaborate with senior leadership on quality objectives and strategies
Qualifications:Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
At least 7 years of experience in IT quality assurance
Extensive knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
Experience managing QA teams in complex IT environments
SAFe certification
Desired:
Advanced degree in related field
Experience with DoD/Navy programs
Quality assurance certifications (CSQA, PMP, etc.)
Experience with both legacy and modern testing methodologies
Knowledge of DoD testing and validation requirements
Experience with automated testing frameworks
Understanding of DevSecOps practices
Experience with quality processes in Agile environments
