HR Recruiter

Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a HR Recruiter in Norfolk, Virginia. This role is in the shipping industry. In this role, you are responsible for conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and entering data on job boards. This is a contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities Conduct phone screens to assess candidate suitability Schedule interviews, coordinating between the candidate and the hiring manager Enter data on job boards, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date Utilize HRIS systems and SAP SuccessFactors for managing talent acquisition Maintain long-term strategic relationships with candidates and with internal teams and external partners Utilize detail oriented platforms, job boards, and social media channels, especially LinkedIn, for recruitment Ensure compliance with all labor regulations and fair employment practices Use Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for documentation and data management Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve recruitment issues Manage employer branding initiatives and full-cycle recruiting. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in Documentation Familiarity with Hiring Processes Proven track record in Recruiting Ability to Conduct Phone Screens Experience in Scheduling Interviews Excellent Communication skills Experience in Full Cycle Recruiting Knowledge of HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field Prior experience in the transport industry is a plus Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Strong decision-making skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
