Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations.

Formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.

Responsible for support of program business and functional operations

Identify and facilitate resolution of operational issues and acting as a liaison between technical and functional areas

Responsible for execution of strategy and the operational direction of the sub-function or project.

Responsible for identifying and resolving any difficult to moderately complex programmatic challenges.

Responsible for ongoing performance of the program

Provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.

Consult with the client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.

Initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.

May support the Program Manager in planning, monitoring the program activities.

Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences.

Act as project leader for projects with complex or voluminous documentation and may provide or coordinate special documentation services as required.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

US Citizenship

Active DOD SECRET Clearance

University Degree (BA/BS) in logistics, business, technical, engineering or similar field.

Minimum Ten (10) years of experience, with a minimum of five (5) of those supporting in a management or supervisory capacity, specific to Naval Logistics with USN, USMC, USCG or related.

Experience with high visibility projects

Experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a high paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

Master's Degree in logistics engineering, technical, or business field.

PMP certification

Experience providing direct support of a Naval logistics program with revenue in excess of $10M

Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

Knowledge of the Sponsor’s organization, mission, and partners
