Clinical Wireless Monitoring Technician I (Norfolk, VA)Empower your passion for making a positive impact on lives in this opportunity where you will obtain the knowledge and skills to analyze and process ECG transmissions/events for patients who are utilizing the ECG Solutions wireless product.Your role:
Thoroughly review ECG transmissions and associated algorithm findings to ensure clinical accuracy and completeness
Assess ECG transmissions to determine physician notification criteria, and meticulously document actions and findings; promptly escalate any abnormalities in line with software and physician notification protocol.
Contribute to the success of the Clinical Wireless Monitoring department by meeting key performance indicators and upholding a high standard of quality in a collaborative team-based setting.
Complete a training period, go into your regular shift (4-day/10-hour shifts) including a ramp up stage.
Availability/shift requirements:
Upon hire, training will be offered and conducted via educator onsite and/or virtual classroom from Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm EST or 10:00am-6:30pm EST for the first (11) weeks.
Upon successful training, you will begin a 12-week ramp up stage and be assigned a regular shift (4 day/10-hour shifts).
Once the ramp up stage is completed, you will be 2 days in office, 2 days from home.
This is a 24/7/365 business operation; thus, open availability, inclusive of revolving days, evening, overnights, weekends, and holidays, is required. Preferred shift will be considered, but not guaranteed, as staffing is determined by business needs.
The current shift schedules are as follows:
6:00am-4:30pm EST
1:00pm-11:30pm EST
9:00pm-7:30am EST
11:00pm-9:30am EST
You're the right fit if:
You have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) and an active CRAT/CCT certification or obtain one within 180 days from the date of hire.
You’ve acquired 6+ months of relevant work experience; experience in a clinical setting involving ECG/EKG monitoring and/or interpretation analysis is preferred.
Your skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, a strong technical acumen and computer skills, and adeptness in working across multiple technical platforms simultaneously, with a capacity to adapt to change.
