Job Summary : The FRPS Acute Care Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for the comprehensive clinical evaluation of a wide variety of medical patients while under the supervisory capacity of the attending Physician. Work directly with experienced Hospitalist Physicians to assist with admissions including H&Ps and orders, coordinating incoming transfers, assisting with consultations, and collaborating with a broad range of sub-specialists. Job Requirements: Successful completion of PA/NP program.HCPBLS obtained within 30 days of employment.ACLS, PALS certification obtained within one year of employment.State of Nebraska License.Minimum 5 years' experience in primary care services.Desired experience with inpatient care.Proficiency in performing comprehensive history and physical examination.Experience in formulating targeted assessments and clinical plans for a broad variety of medical patients.EEO Employer/Vet/Disabled
