Well established boat/engine sales and service facility is currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team in our new 22,000 sq ft building. Please send resume for consideration.
What you will be doing?
Greet and assist customers who come in for service/part(s) purchases.
Creating sales/work orders for customers.
Getting new customers entered into the point-of-sale system with all the required information.
Process customer payments .
Answer & direct incoming calls and inquiries.
Assisting the Service Manager with organizing parts rooms.
Invoicing, filing and faxing.
Order parts as instructed by Service Manager from various vendors.
Keep detailed records of parts coming in, knowing where the parts go (customer sales/service job/stock) and maintaining correct inventory.
Maintaining calendar of drop off/pickups of boats for service.
Handle customer issues including warranty-related issues.
Keep price files in point-of-sale system up to date.
Collaborating with Service Manager.
Light Cleaning.
Who are we looking for?
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
Must be able and willing to organize parts rooms and maintain the organization.
Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm AND Saturday 10am – 2pm.
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Previous Cashier/Receptionist experience in a boat or automobile setting is a plus.
Ability to learn quickly and efficiently.
Must be comfortable working in a service shop environment.
Willingness to learn a new invoicing system.
