Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Cloud Engineer/SME .The Cloud Engineer/SME will be responsible for delivering cloud services to the Army located at Fort Eustis, VA. The Cloud Engineer/SME will lead and direct teams with diverse functional and technical disciplines to include enterprise architects, systems engineers, business analysts, network engineers and full stack developers in support of Cloud efforts. Will coordinate resolution of highly complex problems and tasks, selling new ideas and concepts in support of operational goals and objectives. Will provide technical and analytical guidance to Cloud teams, integrating and translating complex concepts into tactical action plans. Will directs high-level cloud analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development. Requires a deep understanding of DoD business transformation, data management and cloud policies and directives.The Cloud Engineer/SME should have the following experience:
- Experience on large cloud IT projects / operations / systems / applications efforts for the Army or other cloud related services within the DoD
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or other closely related discipline and 12+ years of relevant experience OR Masters Degree and 10+ years of experience
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, with experience briefing executive personnel
- Experience with cloud migrations including inventory, assessment and migration planning efforts
- Communicate and collaborate to promote strong partnerships between the architects, engineers, developers and business stakeholders
- Provide cloud specific technical aspects in multiple areas of expertise and provide recommendations for solutions and designs
- Experience with Azure and AWS cloud solutions and environments
- Experience with cybersecurity efforts and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience with Army data management efforts
- Experience with Agile and DevSecOps environments
- Cloud Certification(s)
- MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE; this will be verified prior to interview. Therefore, s can be considered for this position.
- Must have CASP+ CE, or CCNP Security, or CISA, or CISSP (or Associate), ED IH
- The hours for this role are Full-time, Regular - Start and End times are dependent on customer requirements
