Maxar has an immediate opportunity for a Web Developer with database experience to join an exciting team building a data visualization and analytic tool with a wide and stable user base. The tool is currently in the process of being migrated to a cloud environment.Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):- Supporting the migration activities into a cloud environment.
- Participating in the design, maintenance, enhancement, coding, and administration of relational databases.
- Conducting performance tuning, baselining and forecasting system performance, and managing
- Configurations.
- Installing and configuring database environments.
- Performing backups, restores, and archiving data.
- Recommending and implementing approved process and tool improvement.
- Assisting in the ingest of geospatial data including imagery, maps, charts, GIS feature data and integrated GIS data to the Sponsor's web applications.
- Must have current/active TS/SCI security clearance with required Polygraph.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Web Developer.
- Experience with PostgreSQL architecture, database design, administration, and related technologies.
- Experience with GIS concepts.
- Operating in AWS.
