A leading enterprise SaaS company has an open position for a Senior Software Engineer. This company is looking to build and grow their next generation software platform using cutting edge technology. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java microservices, AWS, Couchbase, and S3. Along with the technical qualifications this company is looking for someone with a strong passion for software development and takes pride in the code that you produce. Along with these intangibles you should also have great analytical skills with the ability to handle complex modular software development with horizontal scalability within a team environment.
Skills & Technologies- Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience designing, building and implementing highly scalable RESTful APIs using any of the following: Java, Node.js, Python, C#
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue
- Experience with back-end development and relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Expertise in open source technologies and NoSQL DB technology such as Couchbase, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, etc.
- Experience with using AWS
- Years of Experience: Senior 4+, Lead 8+, and Principal 10+
- Desired Skills:
- Prior experience with video processing, streaming and video-related cloud services such as AWS Elemental & Amazon IVS will be a big plus
- Strong knowledge of application-profiling and performance-tuning
- Strong understanding of internet security
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and limitation issues
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
