Full stack Java Developer with experience in the Banking/Finance. This is a 6 Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in McLean, VA. Having some flexibility on angular but need to have some experience and willing to learn.Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain critical services within AWS (connectivity, resources, etc.)- Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline, automation tools, and shared components to support feature team delivery- Automate the provisioning and management of clusters allowing for multi-region deployment of containerized applications- Provide monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure issue detection and fast recovery- Assist with feature team support requests- Assist with production support when issues ariseBasic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering- At least 3 years of experience with Java , JEE , Spring- At least 3 year of experience developing front end applications using AngularJS , Node JS , JavaScript , Typescript , HTML , or CSS- At least 3 years of experience developing RESTful APIs- At least 3 years of experience in developing UNIX and Shell Scripts- At least 3 years of experience in Testing frameworks ATDD, Cucumber, JUnit, and SoapUI- At least 3 years of experience in Amazon web services ECS , EC2 , Lamda , RDS , S3- At least 3 years of experience with Agile practices (iterative delivery, Test Driven Development, paired programming)Preferred Qualifications:- Master's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering- Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills- Java Certification- Experience with Git version control systemOur client is a leading Bank and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
