Your first client requires the following:
Review sales contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition.
Analyze and understand the practices within the segment to ensure proper revenue recognition and proper setup in the system.
Prepare revenue journal entries and account reconciliations.
Calculate revenue reserves and document assessments under ASC 606.
Create and analyze revenue related reports.
Assess and document collectability risk due to aging work-in-progress (WIP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Prepare and post other monthly journal entries including bad debt expense and ad hoc entries.
Support other special projects and duties as directed by the Senior Revenue Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of relevant professional accounting experience
Strong and practical knowledge US GAAP
Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel experiences including data analysis
CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
Experience working with both domestic and international operating units preferred
Experience working in an ERP environment
