Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal based in McLean, Virginia. The successful candidate will be expected to utilize their skills in Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Management System, Microsoft Excel and more, to ensure smooth operation in our legal department. Operate Case Management Software to organize and update legal cases. Use LexisNexis to conduct legal research and gather relevant case information. Implement Management Systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data. Perform Billing Functions and ensure accurate record-keeping. Prepare Briefing documents for legal proceedings. Manage legal Calendar Management, scheduling appointments and important dates. Handle Claim Administration, managing and processing legal claims. Manage Complaint Handling, addressing and resolving legal complaints.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Paralegal role or similar legal profession Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat for document management and editing Experience with Case Management Software for organizing and tracking legal cases Familiarity with LexisNexis for legal research and case law referencing Competent in the use of Management Systems for efficient workflow Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Knowledge of Billing Functions within a legal setting Experience with Briefing attorneys and other legal professionals Skilled in Calendar Management for scheduling meetings, appointments, and deadlines Expertise in Claim Administration for handling legal claims and disputes Experience in Complaint Handling, including resolution and escalation when necessary.
