Summary The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence. Responsibilities Major Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the collection subject matter expert supporting the National Intelligence Manager for Military Integration (NIM-MIL) by developing collection initiatives, aligning resources, managing priorities, assessing capabilities and challenges, and devising solutions on military integration issues such as aerial, ground, surface, and subsurface unmanned systems; unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP); advanced weapons; hardened and deeply buried targets; intelligence on threats to U.S. nuclear command, control and communications (NC3); and assisting with Department of Defense (DoD) collection integration. Develop integrated collection strategies for respective mission areas. Conduct analysis and provide recommendations on cross-target tradeoffs. Oversees and contributes to the development of NIM-MIL mission-related strategic communications tools, including the Unifying Intelligence Strategy, State of the Mission Brief, the Intelligence Planning Guidance, briefings, and written products to ensure they align with national security objectives and the NIM's strategic vision Lead creation of all NIM-MIL collection emphasis messages (CEM) and partner across NIMs for collaborative CEMs. Partner with other NICOs to de-conflict collection priorities, integrate strategies across NIM AORs, and align resources. Partner with ODNI Mission Performance, Analysis, and Collection (MPAC) to support assessments of collector performance. OR Must be a current permanent Federal employee Must have supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment. Must be currently at the grade level of the detail. No Temporary Promotion Opportunity The program does not apply to members of the Military service or contractors. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements: Must have TS/SCI clearance. Superior ability exercise independent judgment on time-sensitive issues and work collaboratively across the IC. Expert knowledge of IC collection policy, management and operations. Superior analytical, critical thinking, and writing skills, including the ability to think strategically, identify needs and requirements, develop recommendations, evaluate outcomes against goals and objectives, and convey insights in clear and precise prose. Superior ability to manage strategic and tactical level topics, and develop innovative recommendations and solutions for improvement. Expert ability to work effectively at a senior level within an interagency environment on complex issues requiring negotiation and consensus-building skills. Superior leadership skills and ability to lead interagency working groups, build coalitions with IC elements to achieve common goals. Must have a Bachelors degree and at least five years of experience in intelligence analysis and/or intelligence collection. Desired Requirements: Extensive knowledge of IC organizations; IC mission posture, structures, capabilities, processes, and policy development. DoD active duty, reserve, guard, or civilian experience desirable. Education Bachelors degree and at least five years of experience in intelligence analysis and/or intelligence collection. Salary Determination: A current Federal Government employee, selected for a detail, will be assigned to the position at their current grade and salary.
