This leader will help influence and manage the OpEx spend supporting our upcoming integration by understanding the integration deal commitments, identify and address evolving business needs, and supporting the business in prioritization of critical Business as Usual intent in parallel to required investments, communicating expected outcomes, and leading the development of Integration and Synergy analytics. The manager in this role will have the opportunity to partner with business leadership on driving strategic business direction that leads to sustainable performance to meet our integration and synergy goals.The ideal candidate would be interested in learning the many nuances of the Card business, developing strong relationships with the Card Finance team, and identifying and performing proactive ad hoc analysis in support of business objectives. This is a great opportunity to learn about all areas of the Card business, as we develop our intent and plans for the portfolio.As a Finance Manager, you will:

Partner with finance leaders and their teams, as well as other internal stakeholders

Business presentations: Lead development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences, clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teams

Proactively identify and lead new analysis that drives additional insights into business performance and opportunities

React to Ad-hoc requests and lead or partner on special projects

Provide management and business clients with project statuses.

Financial analysis and reporting: accurately analyze/explain key cost drivers and monthly variances, suggest actions to the business and manage the regular reporting process

Manage governance and reporting routines within Card and integrating-company financial reporting

Independently manage, prioritize, and delegate tasks

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and influencing skills in order to effectively:

Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights

Partner with business leadership to assess the financial implications of ongoing efforts to grow the organization

Develop presentations to communicate recent performance and trends to senior leadership audiences

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination

At least 3 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

5+ years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function

2+ years of people management experience managing both direct and indirect reports

Experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
